Job Description
Position Summary: Thermo Fisher Scientific Global Payroll is looking for an experienced payroll analyst to investigate employee payroll related inquires and provide information to employees in a timely and accurate manner.
- Completes research for each employee payroll inquiry using multiple software systems including
ADP PayForce, ADP eTime, ServiceNow and Workday - Communicates with employees and provides resolution to inquiries professionally and timely
- Provides follow up status updates to employees until complete resolution
- Contributes to knowledgebase used by other internal team members
- Partners with Payroll Team in identifying systemic issues and assisting in resolution
- Collaborates with Colleague Services team to educate them on payroll items as needed
- Identify trends and opportunities for training colleagues to decrease number of payroll related inquiries
- Performs other duties as assigned
Required Qualifications:
- 5 + years of experience in a large Multi-State Payroll Department or Payroll Call Center
- Prior experience with ADP systems and Workday
- Prior experience with ServiceNow
- Experience maintaining confidentiality and working in a deadline-driven environment
- Must be detail oriented, accurate and have effective communication skills
- Excellent customer service skills and strong analytical ability
- Self-motivated, quick learner and able to work independently
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (excel, word, outlook,)
Desired Qualifications:
- Payroll Certification CPP or FPC
