Job Description
Payroll Data Analyst - 6 months contract
•The Payroll Data Analyst will support the Payroll process and ensure Payroll data is obtained and provided to populate the activpayroll payroll build templates in readiness for the outsourcing of payroll delivery/calculations in the SDL countries of operation.
•The Data Analyst will work with the activpayroll implementation team to ensure we meet the delivery deadlines for the outsourcing of payroll delivery/Calculations in accordance with the implementation schedule.
What will the role involve?
•Identify the data required for each template and work closely with the existing data source to ensure the data is obtained according to the required timescales
•Carry out validation and reconciliation on payroll data to ensure the data provided to activpayroll is accurate
•Collate and prepare payroll data into the required format for completion of the relevant nominated templates
•Troubleshoots payroll processing develops root cause analysis and works with the MDM workstream Lead/MDM manager
•Analyse and document the reasons for variances (Tax/Social Security and other social deductions) and work with managers and Human Resources and line managers to resolve issues
•Maintain GDPR compliance for all sensitive personal information shared between parties , such as payslips.n
•Ensure data is handled within compliance and security guidelines, including deletion of data
What skills and experience are required
•Previous experience in payroll transformation projects and/or system migrations in a mid size company with a Global/multi country footprint
•Multi Country Payroll knowledge
•Advanced Excel skills
•Experience of working with large data sets
•Ability to manage stakeholders at all levels and set clear expectations on deliverables and timescales
•Strong communication skills, able to gather and interpret payroll data ensuring the result meets the business requirement
•Analytical skills
•Understanding of payroll data and legislation is advantageous
