Payroll Lead Data Analysis (6 months contract)
Job purpose/summary:
•Due to the importance of Payroll data and the focus on data integrity, consistency and ownership of payroll data within SDL, we require the skills of experienced Data Workstream Lead.
•The Data Workstream Lead will support their team to enable the Payroll process and ensure Payroll data is obtained and provided to populate the activpayroll payroll build templates in readiness for the outsourcing of payroll delivery/calculations in the SDL countries of operation throughout the life of the Payroll Programme to mitigate risks associated with data and reporting quality and data migration.
Key Accountabilities and decision ownership:
•Assist in the management of the payroll template build workload by assigning and directing work as delegated by the Payroll Data Manager
•Co-ordination between Data Analysts and Data Owners to ensure that the data provided to activpayroll is accurate and complete.
•Ensure data cleansing and enrichment requirements for each data structure with the Data Owners, ensuring one version of the truth.
•Work on data migration from legacy systems to new environments (test and production) and to develop data validation process and plan.
•Support Integration and User Acceptance testing in respect of data flows, data quality and reporting.
•Ensure GDPR compliance for all sensitive personal information shared between parties , such as payslips.
•Key Performance Objectives (KPO’s):
•100% data cleansed and enriched across all data objects.
•Sensitively manage the migration of data management activities.
Skills, know-how & experience:
Must have:
•Previous experience in payroll transformation projects and/or system migrations, as Data Lead in a mid size company with a Global/multi country footprint.
•Multi Country Knowledge
•Ability to manage stakeholders at all levels and set clear expectations on deliverables and timescales
•Previous People management experience of managing small teams
•Must be able to work on own initiative and coordinate the Data Analyst Team and build strong relationships with data owners and activpayroll
•Strong communication skills, able to gather and interpret payroll data ensuring the result meets the business requirement
•Advanced Excel skills
•Experience of working with large data sets
