Job Description

Your task and Responsabilities:

  • Through technical knowledge and mastery of the Mexican legislation the holder of this position must lead the correct execution of the Payroll process for different legal entities comprising Bayer de Mexico, fulfillingalso the local and global guidelines of this critical process.
  • The holder must remain in entire communication and synchrony with the Taxes, Legal and Accounting areas, to consider and to validate all that information that impacts the Payroll process; being able to discern, detect efficiencies and coordinate the team to also ensure deliverables of quality to these areas.
  • Responsible of supervising and validating the ICS process(Internal Control Systems, ensuring the timely execution of all HR processes, policies, systems and internal control mechanisms. Implement with a high level of efficiency the HR audit processes.
  • The holder should know the law, guidelines and procedures of IMSS, SAT, STPS, INFONAVIT to ensure the fulfillment of the different payments in a correct and timely way and to represent the company with the authorities of the Mexican government.
  • Coordinate next activities and processes (Profit Sharing, Saving Funds, Food vouchers, Separation Payments, Tax and Legal obligations, Time & Attendance)ensuring an excellent level of service, complying with the established payroll standards and giving feedback to HR colleagues regarding the accuracy of data provided. Identifying and coordinating the implementation of improvements in payroll processes, working within system (IT) parameters and aiming for complexity reduction.
  • Facing the investments and divestments of the Bayer Group, the holder of the position must be able to lead the team for the correct execution of processes in charge. VII. Achieve the Global and Local KPI's for Payroll with high level of Service Excellence.
  • Set targets for the team in terms of behaviors, performance, development. Act as a mentor/coach and people manager.

 

Who you are:

  • ACADEMIC BACKGROUND: Accounting, Administrative or Economic University Degree.
  • KNOWLEDGE AND EXPERIENCIE: 5 years of experience ina similar position. Solid basis on management of all payroll processes.
  • Solid experience as a People Manager, at least 5 years.
  • High level of leadership teams.
  • Payroll Calculation (Profit Sharing, Saving funds, food vouchers) according local legal laws.
  • Separation Payments / Tax and Legal Obligations.
  • Solid knowledge in Labor Regulations and Social Security (experiencie to face Government audits).
  • Payroll management system knowledge: SAP.
  • Experiences in Companieswith at least 3000 employees as a local responsibility.
  • Experience in Union Payroll.
  • MS Office
  • Fluent level of English
