Eaton’s Corporate Division is currently seeking a Payroll Processing Analyst to join our team. This position is based at our Beachwood, OH location. Position Overview: The North America Payroll Processing Analyst is responsible for executing and ensuring flawless execution of Payroll Processes in the US, Canada and Puerto Rico. The Payroll Processing Analyst will execute Payroll Processing activities; participate in the preparation, maintenance, processing analysis to include auditing of manual and automated payroll data, information, records and reports; Resolve Employee Pay issues through collaboration and with excellent customer service skills. In this function you will: Coordinating with assigned payroll sites to ensure payroll files are submitted by required processing deadlines. Processing Weekly, Bi-Weekly and Semi-Monthly non-exempt and exempt payrolls for union and non-union sites within multiple EINs. Analyzing and balancing payrolls before and after they have been processed. Analyzing reports and preventing items that impact timely and accurate payroll. Participating in complex payroll support functions; calculating, reviewing, verifying and posting a variety of complex payroll data such as gross pay, retirement, retroactive payments, hours, tax information and leave. Communicating with Division sites, internal/external customers to answer questions and resolve problems related to pay inquires. Keeping informed of Federal and State laws, payroll regulations, and interpretations pertaining to payroll to deliver timely and accurate payroll. Validating the successful transmission of bank files at the end of each processing and troubleshooting any challenges to the receipt of the bank files. Assisting in the preparation of periodic/special reports for government agencies, tax authorities, insurance companies, industry associations and other units of Eaton Corp as required. Maintaining confidentiality by keeping payroll records confidential and adhering to data privacy policies. Providing customer service through varies methods including, phone, email and our Service Now case management system. Why work at Eaton? Qualifications Required (Basic) Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent. At least 3-5 years of multi State payroll experience. Experience with Microsoft office 365 tools. No relocation benefit is being offered for this position. Only candidates within a 50-mile radius of Beachwood, OH will be considered. Active Duty Military Service member candidates are exempt from the geographical area limitation Must be able to work in the United States without corporate sponsorship now and within the future Preferred qualifications: Knowledge of multiple payroll systems such as UKG Ultipro payroll and ADP. Balancing payrolls. Bachelors degree from accredited university Position Criteria: Strong mathematical, analytical, and technical skills. Strong written and verbal skills Ability to multi-task, and work under tight deadlines with flexibility. People and influencing skills to work well with persons at all levels of the organization, including external parties.
