We currently have a vacancy for a Payroll Specialist to join the ANZ Mars Global Services Finance (MGSF) Payroll team. In this key support role, you will process a timely and accurate payroll for the Mars Australia business including all aspects of payroll from the recording of accurate time and attendance data and payroll processing through to the reconciliation of general ledger accounts.

 

What would be your key responsibilities?
•    Establish and maintain accurate associate payroll records for all units in ANZ that are supported by Mars Global Services
•    Timely processing of payrun instructions provided by associates, line managers or P&O teams
•    Assist, coordinate, review or audit government and external submissions including but not limited to Superannuation, Work Cover, ABS, Payroll Tax and PAYG 
•    Customer service for Associates requiring guidance regarding payroll queries or issues
•    Participate in a variety of continuous improvement projects

 

What are we looking for?
•    Previous payroll experience in a busy, high pressure environment, or someone working towards Finance qualifications with a high learning agility
•    High attention to detail, results oriented with a real passion for continuous improvement 
•    Superior level of customer service with a strong can-do attitude, and an ability to build relationships 
•    A real problem solver who is adept in prioritising and getting things done in a quick and timely manner
