Job Description
Job Summary Responsible for the coordination and review of the payroll process for all employees, and compliance with Social Security contributions and payroll taxes. Job Responsibilities Employee registration, terminations and changes into TRESS system Coordinate and review weekly payroll process with TRESS System. Ensure of the proper application of the tax regulations and witholdings. Controlling other payroll deductions: saving fund, loans, child support, FONACOT, INFONAVIT, IMSS, etc. Ensure of the proper application of the Company Benefits Package. Controlling of the employee Pension Plan investment “PORVENIR” & Reconciliations Prepare Monthly and bi-monthly Social Security and INFONAVIT tax report. Prepare annual income Tax Report. Manage and control all payroll direct deposit (electronic banking) Ensure, compliance and consistency of the Labor Law and Tax regulations application. Attend all employee’s needs (job referencing, lost debit cards, vacations, absenteeism, permissions, complaint resolving, etc). Provide weekly and monthly hours reports to all departments. Reconcile quarterly compensation report. Month end close payroll journal entries. Balance sheet reconciliations of payroll accounts. Manage employees files. Print badges and replace them as needed. Support Special events at the plant. Support other HR activities as needed. Qualifications Education level required High School or commercial career completed, or incomplete bachelor degree. Years and area of experience required 2+ years of experience in similar position. Technical knowledge Compensation and benefits management experience and must be able to conduct market surveys and analysis. Policy, procedure, process and HR metrics administration. Organizational development and team administration. In-depth knowledge of employment laws, both US and Mexican. Ability to communicate effectively at all levels of the organization. Proficiency with or the ability to quickly learn the organization’s HRIS (Oracle). Knowledge of Tress System (desired). Microsoft Office skills. English 50% is preferred. Excellent organizational skills and attention to details. Ability to act with integrity, transparency, professionalism, and confidentiality.
