Job Summary Responsable de realizar el proceso de pago de nómina así como el cumplimiento a las obligaciones fiscales y laborales que este proceso tales como declaración anual de salarios, pagos de PTU, Aguinaldo, Fondo de ahorro y demás beneficios a los empleados. Job Responsibilities Carry out the preparation and accounting of the weekly payroll of unionized and biweekly employees as well as of special payrolls (Benefits, Payment of Settlements, Compensation, etc.) Verify the correct application of deductions such as FONACOT, INFONAVIT, Loans to employees, alimony, savings account, Pention benefit, etc .; Validate the deductions to preserve the legal concept, in cases where the discounts exceed the employee's salary. Validation of the taxable and exempt concepts of the weekly/biweekly payroll as well as the tax to be withheld. Verify reasonableness in salary payments with respect to the immediate previous payroll to avoid wrong payments. Process monthly payment to institutions such as FONACOT (loan institution), IMSS (Social Security), 2% on payroll taxes. Prepare for supervisors review: monthly and/or bimonthly social security payment process of contributions and amortization of INFONAVIT credits, as well as the verification of the integrated daily salary base for the calculations. Prepare for supervisors review: extraordinary payments to all employees, such as the payment of a savings fund to employees. bonuses, Profit Sharing and calculation of bonuses, when applicable. Prepare for supervisors review: annually declaration of salaries, verifying the integrity of the information as well as the taxes withheld delivered an individual report to the employees that require it. Solve all kinds of requirements related to payroll issues by the authority such as SHCP, IMSS (Social Security) and INFONAVIT, FONACOT, etc. (along with supervision) Prepare for supervisors review: internal and external audits (IMSS (Social Security), INFONAVIT, financial statements, etc.). #LI-SL4 Qualifications Qualifications Education level required: Graduate degree required in Accounting or Finance Years and area of experience required: 2-3 years’ experience in same position in the same industry sector Technical Knowledge: Familiar with Payroll information Systems (Tress,Oracle,SUA) Law knowledge about Social Security, Payroll Tax, etc. Bilingual English/Spanish (preferable) Proficient in MS Office /Excel, able to develop spread sheets Soft Skills: Toma decisiones/Resuelve problemas Se esfuerza para obtener resultados Promueve y apoya el cambio Busca el desarrollo personal Demuestra un estilo colaborador Eaton is an intelligent power management company dedicated to improving the quality of life and protecting the environment for people everywhere.
