Eaton’s Global Financial Services and Systems North America Team is currently seeking Payroll Systems Support Specialist to join our team. This position is based at our Beachwood, OH location. Position Overview: The North America Payroll System Support specialist is a key support role to the system and process for our ADP Canada payroll process and our ADP employment tax process. In this role you will be the system administrator for our Canada ADP payroll system and our ADP U.S. employment tax processing. You will be the key payroll functional representative to liaison with IT as needed and outside suppliers to manage production issues. You will learn and understand the payroll feeds to the general ledger for all payroll systems in North America to support any payroll related general ledger questions. You will lead efforts and education of others on problem solving tools for improvement and automation / digitization in the North America payroll processes. As a system support specialist, you will be brought into learn new systems and processes as needed to support the North America payroll team. In this function you will: Perform ADP (Canada payroll & US Tax) system administration. Understand, support, and troubleshoot interfaces into and out of the North America payroll systems. Learn and understand the Oracle and SAP general ledger and how the North America payroll subledgers feed into these general ledgers as the payroll GL expert. Ensure integration of the North America payroll sub ledgers to the General Ledger, providing accurate financial reporting. Stay abreast of both payroll subledger and general ledger changes and educate others on the payroll team regarding these changes. Ensure system controls to provide compliance to laws and regulations including USGAAP, statutory/Local GAAP, IFRS, Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) and Eaton financial policies for the payroll subledgers. Be the gate keeper of payroll systems, security and access which includes performing quarterly and annual user access review to following SOX compliance guidelines Work with payroll system vendors such as ADP and any new vendors we choose to utilize for payroll system processing. Drive continuous improvement using LEAN, problem solving tools and other Eaton Business System (EBS) tools to improve system efficiency and effectiveness and enhance digitization. Perform benchmarking, research and analysis on payroll best practices and making recommendations that can benefit North America payroll processes and systems. Why work at Eaton? Qualifications Required (Basic) Qualifications: Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited institution Minimum 1 year experience with Microsoft Office 365 tools Minimum 3 years experience in payroll workstream Must be able to work in the United States without corporate sponsorship now and within the future No relocation benefit is being offered for this position.
