In this position, responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Responsible for the preparation of reports for employee's compensation and benefits related items and statutory reports for example: Social Security, Income Tax, employee withholding, etc. 

• Performs Balance Sheet Account reconciliations, investigation and clean-up of reconciliation items in close partnership with Finance department and Payroll Operations. 

• Team up with local and worldwide business partners to resolve issues. 

• Participates in process improvement projects.

Qualifications

You must possess the below minimum qualifications to be initially considered for this position. Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates. Requirements listed would be obtained through a combination of industry relevant job experience, internship experiences and or schoolwork/classes/research.

 

Minimum Qualifications:

• Must be an active student of Bachelor´s degree in Accounting.

• Intermediate English level.

• Advanced Excel knowledge (Pivot tables, V-Lookup)

• Must be willing to work at least 36 hours per week.

• Must have permanent-unrestricted right to work in Costa Rica.
