People and Capability Manager
Reporting to the Head of People and Talent, you will be an integral part of the wider Venture Operations team. You will provide support to the business in the design, delivery, and management of learning, talent and performance needs for DV Sydney. This fantastic role will see you partnering with our US and local BCG teams to build and deliver a global approach to people and capability while retaining ownership of a local plan and strategy.
A strategic HR all-rounder, you are able to manage the end-to-end development, performance and talent management approach and possess a combination of sound conceptual analytical skills with creativity and innovation. You will be considered an expert and able to provide expert advice and recommendations on key development areas relevant to directors across a diverse range of technical and non technical skills.
Key responsibilities:
- Develop and improve key people and capability activities including performance management, learning and development, talent management and succession planning
- Identify learning needs of teams and individuals and provide recommendations to improve capability across the organisation
- Manage the end-to-end instructional design and delivery of development, performance and talent programs for an organisation of circa 80 people
- Coach and provide guidance to employees around programs and development options
- Act as a facilitator/trainer in selected programs and workshops
- Develop and manage training related vendor networks
- Provide strategic HR advice to directors and leaders across the business
- Work with Global Head of L&D and BCG local L&D teams to customise and rollout training
- Manage L&D Budget
Key Experience
- Demonstrates success in a similar role
- Previous experience in a Human Resources Business Partner or Consultant role with a learning and development focus
- Broad experience in the provision of HR generalist partnership and support including talent management, learning and development, performance management and leadership.
- Instructional Design skills and experience
- Track record in designing and executing successful development programs
- The ability to facilitate workshops confidently
- Good leadership and influencing skills
- A collaborative mindset
