We are seeking a Human Resources Compliance Program Specialist to help manage our Affirmative Action and EEO Compliance programs in the US. This Program Specialist will work with the Program Manager to serve as a trusted advisor to the HR community and business leaders, advising on a wide variety of compliance-related topics. Based on previous experience, this role will have the potential opportunity to work in other areas of the HR Operations team, providing the successful incumbent with interesting work within and outside the compliance role. How You’ll Make an Impact Working with an outside legal firm, assist with the development, implementation and production of Affirmative Action Plans, annual government reporting, AAP goal monitoring, and compensation equity analysis. Collaborate with HR Business Partners and Talent Acquisition to ensure that reports are an accurate reflection of the employee population and hiring and promotion practices. Provide advice and counsel to internal clients regarding EEO/AA compliance and policy issues by evaluating risk and reviewing precedents. Act as a consultant to other areas of Human Resources and the organization. Consult and collaborate with various support areas and business groups to advance the company’s diversity, equity and inclusion programs. Work with P&O Compliance Program Manager to develop and deliver AAP (Affirmative Action Plans) training covering interpretation of reports, documentation of AAP related activities and establishment of goals. Advise and provide counsel to Human Resources Business Partners, Recruiters and senior management regarding strategies to meet goals and address problem areas. Coordinate preparation of analyses and documentation of AA efforts, assemble other required documents. Analyze possible outcome of review and make recommendations as appropriate. Build relationships and act as liaison with federal and state government agencies to represent Siemens effectively in these contacts. Proactively assess impact of new legislation and rulings on procedures and policies. Inform clients of impact effectively. Coordinate implementation of required procedural and/or policy revisions to maintain compliance. Capture information and respond to requests for proposal (RFPs). Partner with Labor Relations lead on various data and consultative topics Ensures the affirmative action program complies with applicable federal, state and local laws and regulations, with primary focus on OFCCP-enforced regulations. Communicates with federal, state and local agency officials. Monitors changes to applicable laws and communicates such changes to management and human resources personnel. Based on experience and workload, this role may flex or be shared into other interesting areas of the HR Operations team giving the successful incumbent exposure to areas which could include project management, employee relations or other areas that provide data back to customers, the business or internal to HR.
