The opportunity: 

Reporting to the Senior Manager Performance and Business Reporting, this role will see you support AIA’s purpose, vision, and strategy through the delivery of reporting and insights. Help facilitate effective business decision-making that reflects customer need and supports business improvement, strategy, and broader financial objectives.

To do this successfully you will: 

  • Develop, maintain and deliver timely regular or ad hoc management reporting information to operations stakeholders.
  • Interact with data owners to source, define, and access data that can be used for reporting and analysis.
  • Liaise with Operations stakeholders to inform, advise, and guide them on reporting outputs and their potential application.
  • Undertake deep dive ad-hoc analysis to better understand business issues as requested.
  • Liaise and cooperate with stakeholders outside Operations to ensure the integration of data and reporting necessary to provide the business with a 3600 view of activities to facilitate stronger business decision-making.
  • Facilitate the development of automated reporting capabilities to minimize manual report building requirements.
  • Actively support business and customer improvement projects.
  • Provide information, reporting, and analytic consultancy advice to relevant stakeholders across the business.

Successful applications will demonstrate: 

  • A strong focus on the customer and a passion for helping stakeholders effectively meet customer needs.
  • Degree qualified with experience working in a reporting, data analysis or operations capability.
  • Experience with SQL or other data extraction tools desirable.
  • Working knowledge of claims and/or underwriting and/or contact center environments strongly desirable.
  • Experience in a customer focused culture and proven understanding of the needs and challenges associated with delivering customer centric change.
  • Proven knowledge and experience in report development and data analysis.
  • Experience in automated reporting systems (Birst, Tableau, SalesForce Etc.) desirable.
