Overview The business unit Factory Automation in Digital Industries US is looking for a motivated individual with affinity for digitalization, seeking to grow and develop in his/her career by becoming our FA BU Performance Controller / Financial Analyst. This position reports directly into the FA BU Head of Finance. The Financial Analyst will work closely with the whole FA Finance team (local and global), DI Performance Controlling and CFR. This role is responsible for the consolidation of the FA reporting and owns the BU Budgeting and Forecasting process. In addition, he/she will be driving the monthly/quarterly/ annual closing processes together with the Segment Controllers while ensuring that the Siemens Financial Reporting Guidelines are followed. And significant time will be allotted to drive digitalization and automation through the FA finance organization. The Financial Analyst must possess strong analytical and inter-personal skills as this position will communicate with multiple levels of management and controlling, and in addition will collaborate with the technical business partners. Responsibilities • Overall responsibility for P&L and Balance Sheet budgeting and forecasting process and BU consolidation. • Responsible for monthly BU reporting package • Drive digitalization and automation of controlling, reporting and planning process and tools • Active participation in the DI FIN Digitalization team • Support Segment finance teams in overarching topics • Development opportunities in areas of commentary, analysis, and business processes through special assignments Required Knowledge/Skills, Education, and Experience • 8+ years of experience in budgeting, forecasting, financial analysis and reporting • Extensive experience with SAP • Desire to be an active participant in a successful team • Detail oriented, but able to synthesize complex topics for consumption by both executive management and colleagues • Ability to effectively manage deadlines, prioritize and multi-task • Advanced in MS Excel, Power point • Solid Experience with Essbase/Hyperion • Solid understanding of digitalization tools (Tableau preferred) • 5% Travel Required #LI-VM1 Organization: Digital Industries Company: Siemens Industry, Inc.
