Job Description

As a manager, set priorities for the team, get results across boundaries, ensure an inclusive work environment, develop employees, and manage performance. Directs and guides the activities of research or technical design function responsible for designing, developing, modifying, modeling and analyzing analog and mixed signal electronic parts, components, interconnects, or integrated circuitry for electronic equipment and other hardware systems. Evaluates final results of research and development projects to assure accomplishment of technical objectives. Prepares and presents reports outlining the outcome of technical projects and makes recommendations for actions necessary to achieve desired results. Selects, develops, and evaluates personnel to ensure the efficient operation of the function.



Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Candidate must have a Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Electronics, Electrical, Mechatronics or Computers / Computing Systems Engineering
  • 3+ years managing engineering teams with a proven track record leading to deliver innovative solutions and transforming ideas into reality that positively impact business
  • 2+ years lab management experience (or validation / debug field work)
  • Advanced English level

Skills / knowledge in the following fields:

  • PC architecture basics (main computer components and connectivity)
  • Platform HW and SW architecture basics
  • Computing systems validation and debug process concepts
  • Data extraction and analysis
  • Performance work understanding (power and performance, overclocking basics, etc)

An ideal candidate for this position should demonstrate how they used the following skills to get work done:

  • Understands and effectively communicate technical concepts (mainly related to high performance computing systems) to align with corresponding Intel groups and eventually with external customers
  • Synthesize complex situational information into clear messages that guide team results
  • Form strong performing team within business groups in an agile/highly adaptable matrixed environment
  • Learn and implement managerial and business methods in a team of technical contributors to improve team results
  • Structure the team to ensure business continuity and drive contributions to key focus areas (impact growth)
