Job Description

The Performance Management Analyst is responsible for driving Market #1 initiatives for an enhanced network performance. This includes analyzing network performance through pre-defined KPIs, communicating results to necessary stakeholders, and providing recommendations on how to improve the transparency, efficiency, and accuracy of such analysis. Collaboration with team members is vital in strategizing on measuring KPIs.   

The incumbent will track and validate the success of Market#1 initiatives, especially in regard to their effectiveness within the field. This role requires the alignment of reporting between internal associates and the field team. Such cross-functionality will allow the associate the ability to synthesize and cross-pollinate to optimize not only the success of the department, but also the success of the company.

The Performance Management Analyst is responsible to assist in tool development and enhancements and to be pro-active in developing automated solutions for repeated tasks. He or she will be using technical skills in driving data-driven stories, custom-built to reflect situational analysis. The associate will have the additional opportunity to explore new methodologies to steer the performance analytics to benefit the sales operations process for the dealer network.

He or she is also responsible for supporting the needs of the department, especially as related to optimized reporting. The associate will ensure the accuracy and effectiveness of all Market#1 and Network Performance Management reports. This individual will apply skills in communication, problem-solving, and collaboration to plan, implement, and validate Market#1 cadence. Additionally, the incumbent will utilize his or her knowledge of best practices to guide the department, internal stakeholders, and field team members.

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration/Information Technology or extensive work experience beyond a 4 year equivalent; Master’s preferred
  • 3+ years of experience in one or preferably a combination of the following: Automotive Operations (HQ/ NSC/ Retail), Strategy, Consulting, Business Analytics and Information Technology
  • Advanced Excel Skills (heavy usage of Pivots, excel formulas); Ability to code macros preferred
  • Experience in Tableau and Salesforce preferred (Other BI tools a plus)
  • Succeeds in a fast paced environment
  • Advanced Time Management skills
