Job Description
The Marketing team is the key driver of italki’s business. Our campaigns span through both online (social media, content, digital ads, email, blogs, publications, affiliate networks, public relations, etc.) and offline mediums (magazines, print, events, etc.). Being an internet-based business focused on a global market, it is essential that we keep growing and improving our email and messaging campaigns by channeling fresh, innovative ideas and putting them into action.

We are looking for a dynamic, creative, and action-driven individual who can bring forth this passion into the Marketing team. Leveraging knowledge of paid advertising on Google Adwords, Facebook advertising and other advertising channels, you will work throughout the design and management of best-in-class marketing campaigns.The Performance Marketing specialist will report to the Performance Marketing manager.

Responsibilities
•Develop expansion and growth strategies for key marketing channels including paid search, online media and social media advertising.

•Optimization and monitoring of advertising accounts (Google Adwords, Facebook ads...) performance across all advertising campaigns

• Deliver on revenue and budget targets for assigned digital marketing channels and programs.

•Partner with the Performance Marketing manager and Marketing director on the selection/expansion of vendors and agencies that support growth plans.

•Work with the communications team to provide directions on the creation of new ad copy and landing pages for multiple markets

•Partner with the analytics team to analyze weekly, monthly and quarterly reports: draw insights, help the team identify optimization tactics and adjust strategy.

•Develop best practice standard working procedures for paid advertising activity

Requirements
• Understanding of digital marketing across key channels including Paid Search,Video Advertising, Display Media and Social required. Experience with programmatic advertising is a plus
• Previous experience (3+ years) with a proven record of demonstrating strong return on investment on Google Adwords (Youtube ads) or Facebook ads.
• Strong understanding of web analytics, best practices and available data relevant to marketing optimization required.
• A degree in Business, Analytical, Marketing, Finance, or Information Technology is a plus
• Excellent English communication skills, both oral and written. Chinese is a plus
