Job Description

This position is associated with the sale of Intel's NAND memory and storage business to SK Hynix. You can read more about the transaction in the press release https://www.intel.com/content/www/us/en/newsroom/news/nand-memory-news.html.

The transaction will enhance the resources and potential of the business storage solutions including client and enterprise SSDs in the rapidly growing NAND Flash space amid the era of big data. Transition is expected to close in late 2022, subject to regulatory approvals and other customary conditions. At deal close, all employees aligned to this phase of the transaction will transition to SK Hynix.

The Performance Test Associate leads the creation, implementation, and optimization of software tools in support of various domains including design, manufacturing, validation, silicon production, systems integration, software application products, or ecosystem enabling.

They also utilize modern software development methodologies, programming languages, domain knowledge, and secure coding practices to design, develop, debug, and/or validate algorithms, software tools, and systems that enable our internal/external engineering partners to design/manufacture intel silicon, integrate Intel silicon and/or software into impactful products. Examples of tools/systems include debuggers, analyzers, SDKs, IDEs, PDKs, performance monitors, software tools and libraries, flows, and/or methodologies for design, manufacturing, validation, and test.


Qualifications

You must possess the below minimum qualifications to be initially considered for this position. Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • 1+ years in performance testing.
  • 9+ months of experience debugging.
  • 1+ years of Python experience

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with HW skills: PC Platform, BIOS, Drivers, IO technologies.
  • Knowledge about Data Center solutions.
  • Experience with industry specifications such as SATA, NVME, OPAL, eSSC.
  • Experience with integrating reference code and/or platform support.
  • Experience using Git or Perforce.
  • Experience with OS's scripting.
  • Experience with Storage technologies.
  • Experience in Project management.
  • Experience in requirements specifications reviews.

Work Model for this Role

This role will be eligible for our hybrid work model which allows employees to split their time between working on-site at their assigned Intel site and off-site.
