Job Description

Responsibilities may be quite diverse of a technical nature. U.S. experience and education requirements will vary significantly depending on the unique needs of the job. Job assignments are usually for the summer or for short periods during breaks. Used for jobs with a higher market rate than standard tech jobs.


Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications

  • Pursuing a graduate degree in Computer Science or computer engineering or electrical engineering.

  • 6+ months of experience with the following skills:

  • Solid knowledge of Python including code triage and debugging skills

  • Practical programming experience with real projects (commercial, academic, or open source).

  • Experience with Windows or Linux operating systems as a development environment.

  • Knowledge of modern CPU architectures.

  • Knowledge of the software development process, optimization techniques, and testing methodologies.


This position is not eligible for employment-based visa/immigration sponsorship. Intel sponsors individuals for employment-based visas for positions where we experience a shortage of US Workers. These skills shortage roles are typically STEM contributing positions requiring a Master's or PhD degree, or a Bachelor's degree with three years' related job experience. This position does not qualify for Intel Sponsorship because it is either (1) a non-STEM contributing position, or (2) a STEM position that only requires a Bachelor's degree and less than three years' experience.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Knowledge of GUI programming/MVC design is a plus.

  • Knowledge of DataFrame processing (Pandas/R/Matlab) is a plus

  • Knowledge of C/C++ and assembly language is a plus

  • Knowledge of performance optimization is a plus

Annual Salary Range for jobs which could be performed in US, Colorado:
$52,000.00-$147,000.00

Work Model for this Role

This role is available as fully home-based and generally would require you to attend Intel sites only occasionally based on business need.
