Personal Assistant to the Dean (at the rank of Executive Officer) in the Faculty of Science (Ref.: 496956) (to commence as soon as possible, on a two-year fixed-term basis with contract-end gratuity and University contribution to a retirement benefits scheme, totaling up to 10% of basic salary, with the possibility of renewal)

Applicants should possess a Bachelor’s degree, with at least 5 to 8 years’ work experience. They should have a good command of both written and spoken English and Chinese (including Cantonese and Putonghua), good communication and interpersonal skills as well as computer skills. They should also have an interest in developing solutions to problems and finding new ways of working; be mature, self-motivated, independent, flexible, attentive to details; able to work under pressure and tight deadlines; and be a good team member and have the ability to work with multiple parties.

The appointee will provide full scope of administrative support to the Dean, including calendar and meeting schedules, travel arrangements and correspondence and emails; act as the main point of contact for internal and external parties; assist in the Dean’s key meetings including preparation for meeting agenda, compiling documents for meetings, minute taking; and perform ad hoc and non-routine tasks as required.
