We are looking for a new colleague to our team in the Smart Infrastructure department in the position: Personal test support for smart metering systems. The position is open for locations in Brno and Prague. Your task will be: Collaboration in national and international IT projects with a focus on testing and support in smart metering projects Collaboration in the creation of test concepts Creation of test constructs / test cases in the various test stages of a smart metering project Collaboration in the creation of test reports and maintenance of the test progression Independent execution of test cases (manual / automated / test tool supported) Active support of the development team in the analysis of error situations, requires technical domain know-how or the willingness to acquire it Coordination with internal test colleagues and testers on customer side Participation in customer workshops for requirements engineering Extension of existing test automation, introduction of new test automation tools What we will appreciate from you: TU/FH/HTL degree in the field of computer science, electrical engineering or similar Experience in software testing (2-3 years of professional experience is desirable), verifiable through certificates such as ISTQB Certified Tester Foundation Level First experience in test management (desirable) Ideally domain know-how in the area of smart metering Experience in test automation tools and ticketing systems Independent, proactive, and accurate working style Communicative team player in project structures with agile approaches and a high-quality awareness Willingness to travel / direct customer contact Good knowledge of operating systems (Windows Server, Linux) as well as the Office package and the use of ticketing systems such as Jira or documentation platforms such as Confluence or Sharepoint Good knowledge of scripting languages and database interactions (SQL) Very good knowledge of German and good knowledge of English are a prerequisite You can look forward to: 5 weeks of vacation, flexible working hours, home office and company nursery school in Prague for work life balance An individual budget of min. 24,000 CZK, which you can turn into a combination of up to 8 days of extra holidays, cafeteria points or pension and / or life insurance Meal vouchers Multisport card Possibility to become a Siemens shareholder and get free stocks Various discounts and offers Organization: Smart Infrastructure Company: Siemens, s.r.o.
