The analog and RF device team is looking for a PhD intern to work on RF and mmW circuit and device research.
Additional to digital density and performance improvements, advanced CMOS technologies offer good RF and mmW performance and are well suited for digital enhanced mmW concepts and high integration.
During your thesis you will work on mmW circuits, and device level optimization. You will develop test chips with devices and circuits in advanced CMOS technologies and characterize them in our advanced mmW lab.
You will join an international team with strong background in technology, devices, high frequency characterization and circuits and your research is at the interface between technology, devices, and circuits.
For this position we are looking for a PhD student who is interested to write his/her PhD thesis with Intel for a duration of approx. 3 years.
Qualifications
You hold a master degree in electrical engineering, physics, computer science or similar
You have a strong beckground in RF / mmW circuit design
Experience in RF characterization techniques
Semiconductor physics and devices
Communication skills in English

Work Model for this Role
This role will be eligible for our hybrid work model which allows employees to split their time between working on-site at their assigned Intel site and off-site.
