This is a long-term, dry laboratory position based in-house at the Shanghai branch of a top global pharmaceutical company. The client is in a leading position using cutting edge data science tools and knowledge to accelerate the new drug discovery process.

The successful candidate for this position will work with the local in-house data science team, which is part of the pharmaceutical company’s global data science initiative.

The successful candidate will not only work as a consultant at the client’s site, but also will be a member of Binocular Vision’s growing team of consultants using cutting edge technologies and innovative thinking to solve pharmaceutical R&D problems and challenges and, ultimately, to enhance our clients’ business performance.

Salary is negotiable depending on candidate qualifications.

Job Description

1)Deliver high-quality technical and project services to our pharma research customers.

2)Advise customers and design deep learning solutions for pharmaceutical software solutions.

3)Design and build deep learning applications using Python and other tools.

能使用Python或相关软件编写程序

4)Productively and independently plan and deliver projects to satisfy customer requirements.

5)Research and document scientists’ application requirements.

整理记录并分析客户的需求

6)Build and test applications to ensure reliability and good performance.

7)Document systems and design user training to ensure adoption and effective usage.

8)Collaborate smoothly with members of the customer’s local informatics team and contractors.

9)Work under the direction of our management to satisfy the needs of customers’ senior informatics staff, who will review project goals and implementations.

Qualifications

职位要求

1)Strong experience and skill with deep learning, neural networks, and related computer systems.

有深度学习，神经网络或相关计算机系统的经验和开发能力

2)Experience designing and delivering deep learning and other software and database projects in Python. Experience with R or MATLAB is also a plus.

有运用Python设计和交付深入学习或其他软件和数据库项目的经验以及有R或MATLAB工作经验者优先。

3)Knowledge of design methodologies for solving problems encountered in pharmaceutical research.

4)Possess strong understanding and skill with mathematics and statistics.

5)Understanding of the pharma R&D process desirable.

6)Experience with chemistry, biology, and related life sciences highly desirable.

8)Bachelor or master’s degree or equivalent experience in computer science or cheminformatics.
