This is a Great opportunity for a GL Accountant to join a fast paced team environment in the Pharmaceutical space. Newly created role required to accommodate ongoing growth. My client is passionate about creating an innovative environment for better treatments and cures for life-threatening diseases in China market. You will be working in a team which has breakthroughs in science and technology, advances in digital and data capabilities.

• General ledger accounting for all China legal entities with potential to expand to cover overseas entities
• Create/maintain the accounting framework to support segment level booking and reporting.
• Conduct month end closing and deliver quality reports including balance sheet, P&L and cash flow. Reconcile and settle outstanding items. Work out various management reports with granularity.
• Maintain fixed assets/long term assets tracking and accounting module with understanding of business
• Conduct monthly, quarterly and annual tax filing include but not limited to VAT, CIT, withholding tax, stamp duty and other tax related matters independently.
• Cooperate and support professional audit and authority review.

The ideal candidate will have 2+ years in a GL role. Other criteria may include:

• CICPA or Intermedium certificate is expected.
• Bachelor degree in accounting or related major with solid background on accounting especially GL and closing procedure.
• Hands on experiences as independent GL accountant (familiar with PRC GAAP) plus tax accountant
• Good English writing skill is a must. Fluent oral English is desired.
• Knowledge of auditing practices and principles;
• Basic knowledge of biotech industry, relevant experience is a plus but not a must.
• Ability to meet assigned deadlines;
• Strong responsibility, team-work spirit and ability to manage dynamic working scopes.
• Proactive to lead project, flexibility and strong capability to work under pressure.
