The Design Service Engineering (DSE) organization in Foundry Technology Engineering (FTE) is chartered to identify and drive key strategic initiatives in ensuring successful executions of Intel designs using external foundry technology. The job requires partnering and leveraging domain experts across both Intel and foundry partners Eco-System. Your responsibilities may include, but not limited to. Work closely with External Foundry Partners and Intel Product teams from early-stage PPA Assessment and Design Enablement to execution-stage technical supports - Collaboration with the different Product teams to identify critical product characteristics and target setting requirements - Work on the development of emerging technology such as 3D-IC (3 dimensional - Integrated Circuit) TFM and subsequent test chips validation of 3D-IC ( 3 dimensional - Integrated Circuit )technology and methodology. Performs all aspects of SoC design flow from physical synthesis, floor planning, place and route, clock and power distribution, timing and power optimization, STA signoff, Electrical Migration EM/IR analysis and physical verification. A successful candidate will possess the following skills: Analytical and problem-solving skills - Verbal/written communication skills. Effective team player with continuous learning mindset. Experience working with cross functional and cross site teams. Own and drive execution from synthesis to place and route through all signoff including timing signoff, physical verification, EMIR signoff, formal equivalence, and low power verification. Ability to make good independent technical trade-offs between Performance, Power, Area, and Cost. Possess strong automation skills using scripting languages such as Perl, TCL, Python

Qualifications

You must possess the below minimum qualifications to be initially considered for this position. Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates. Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in EE, CE, CS or similar STEM degree
7+ years of Physical Design experience

Preferred Qualifications
Master's degree in Electrical or Computer Engineering or relevant
2+ years of experience with leading foundry technology
3+ years of experience in EDA tools such as ICC/ICC2/FC, Innovus, Primetime, StarRC
