Who Are We?

The position is in the Big Core Layout team which is part of the Intel i3 i5 i7 processor development team. The group develops the portion of the processors layout. The Group is part of the Big Core organization which is responsible for the development of all Intels COREs.

The Groups development tools are among the most advanced in the market and the required knowledge is a high learning ability and a high ability to perform several tasks simultaneously. You will join a development group as part of the BIG CORE LO group. The work includes study and specialization in areas and processes unique to Intel.The job included creation of bottoms-up elements of chip design including but not limited to FET, cell, and block-level custom layouts, FUB-level floor plans, abstract view generation, RC extraction and schematic-to-layout verification and debug using phases of physical design development including parasitic extraction, static timing, wire load models, clock generation, customer polygon editing, auto-place and route algorithms, floor planning, full-chip assembly, packaging, and verification. Troubleshoots a wide variety up to and including difficult design issues and applied proactive intervention. Schedules, staffs, executes and verifies complex chips development and execution of project methodologies and/or flow developments.

Qualifications

Education: Practical Engineer or BSC in Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering or Computer Science
Location of position - Intel Haifa Matam
Personal qualities: Teamwork ability in a dynamic and challenging environment enables high learning ability to cope with several tasks at the same time
English at a good level an advantage
