Eaton’s IT Cybersecurity & Risk Organization is currently seeking a Physical Security Lenel Engineer to join our team. This position is based at any Eaton facility in the U.S. Position Overview: Deliver, maintain, and update technology solutions in Eaton's Physical Security space that addresses business and technical requirements, leveraging standard principles and patterns. In this function you will: Provides subject matter expertise to and lead platform and system design, development, and implementation. Works with resources across functions to deliver technology and platform solutions to meet customer requirements, providing solution options and highlighting operational or security risks. Tunes and configures technologies and platforms to meet customer and operational requirements. Coordinates and regularly updates technology, platform, and documentation to ensure operational health and security. Monitor’s technology and platform to ensure required performance, availability, and capacity. Identifies gaps in monitoring and potential impact on service delivery. Continuously seeks to manage and utilize technology and platform more efficiently. Follows industry, organization, and ITIL best practices to maximize quality and efficiency. Qualifications Required (Basic) Qualifications: High school diploma required A minimum of 3 years in Physical Security solutions is required No relocation benefit is being offered for this position. Only candidates within a 50-mile radius of any Eaton facility in the United States will be considered. Active-Duty Military Service member candidates are exempt from the geographical area limitation. This position requires use of information or access to hardware which is subject to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR). All applicants must be U.S. persons within the meaning of ITAR. ITAR defines a U.S. person as a U.S. Citizen, U.S. Permanent Resident (i.e., 'Green Card Holder'), Political Asylee, or Refugee. Legally authorized to work in the U.S. without company sponsorship. Preferred Qualifications: Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited institution Experience with enterprise Lenel physical security, physical access management, video surveillance ServiceNow integrations Directory Server (AD or LDAP) Web Development (Javascript, CSS, Java, Python, Ruby, Go, .Net, PHP) Position Criteria: Experience in Physical Security, Access and Video Surveillance solutions and technologies. Experience with the Enterprise Lenel Physical Security solutions is required. Leading requirement gathering discussions with resources not well-versed in Physical Security technologies Understanding functional requirements related to Access Control, Video Surveillance, Intrusion Detection, and Visitor Management Systems Lenel Enterprise Access Control and Video Surveillance system Following guidelines established by the Eaton Security Standards Managing and working with various Eaton teams for project implementation Developing logical, practical, and documented physical security solutions as new technologies are developed and implemented Executing ITSM processes (Change Management, Request Fulfillment, Incident Management, and Problem Management) related to physical security systems Providing Eaton locations with Lenel training Collaboration with other Eaton IT Security and Infrastructure Services resources Collaboration with global security partners Collaboration with business unit leaders, EHS leaders, HR leaders, site Facilities managers, and site Security resources What you’ll get from us: We provide benefits that are industry competitive and focused on employee well-being.
