The company is a leading Aviation Training and Technology company in China who have added fitness training to their portfolio of packages they offer to a wide range of Aviation related clients in several major cities including Beijing, Shanghai and Shenzen, China.

They are seeking a Physical Training Instructor / Team Leader with an Armed Forces background to manage a team of 5 PTI’s and develop and deliver bespoke training programmes to groups of 10 or more on an individual or one to one basis, aimed at raising confidence, self-esteem and physical ability.

The position is offered on a 5-year contract

Plan and conduct progressive general fitness training, coaching sessions for the Company at the Clients Sites.

Work with clients on an as required basis for fitness assessments and appraisals with an approximate class size of 10 which will be a mix of aviation related staff.

This may also be on a one to one basis dependent on client requirements.

Plan diets as well as a good understanding of physiotherapy and sports psychology and be well versed in the latest fitness trends and methods.

Manage and plan the work load of a team of 5 Physical Training Instructors operating at different sites around China.

Ideally you will be a Military / Ex-Military Physical Training Instructor (PTI) with some teaching experience or as a minimum have attended promotion courses (NCO Cadres) with man management experience.

Clearly you must be physically fit and understand the levels of knowledge and skills appropriate for different ages.

Ideally a Degree in Sports Science or a related subject.

Able to plan diets as well as a good understanding of physiotherapy and sports psychology and be well versed in the latest fitness trends and methods.

Excellent communication, organisational and presentational skills and be able to work under pressure while maintaining a positive professional attitude.

Excellent inter-personal skills and can work with persons from different cultural background so a high level of patience will be beneficial.

Experienced in formulating fitness training plans and setting up a physical fitness training curriculum and have experience training and managing other physical training instructors.
