ICT GmbH und ihre 100 Mitarbeiter entwickeln und produzieren modernste elektronen-optische Säulen (Elektronenmikroskope), welche innerhalb der Applied Materials Gruppe in E-Beam Review-, CD- und Inspektions-Tools integriert und zur automatischen Halbleiterprozesskontrolle genutzt werden.

Hauptaufgaben

• Entwicklung und Realisierung von innovativen Elektronenstrahlsystemen zur Anwendung in der Halbleiter-Prozesskontrolle
• Erprobung von neuartigen Komponenten und Prototypen im Laborumfeld
• Entwicklung von komplexen Justage- und Kalibrierprozeduren
• Systemanalyse und -optimierung mittels Simulation & mathematischer Modellierung
• Unterstützung der Produkteinführung
• Enge Zusammenarbeit in einem internationalen und multidisziplinären Team

Ihr Profil

• Studium der Physik oder vergleichbarer Studienabschluss
• Kenntnisse im Bereich Elektronenmikroskopie (SEM/TEM) wünschenswert
• Idealerweise Erfahrung im Bereich der Entwicklung von Teilchenstrahlsystemen
• Interesse an der Lösung experimenteller und theoretischer Problemstellungen
• Fließende Deutsch- und Englischkenntnisse in Wort und Schrift
• Kreative und ergebnisorientierte Arbeitsweise
• Hohes Maß an Eigeninitiative und Organisationstalent

ICT Introduction

ICT GmbH is a subsidiary of Applied Materials Inc. based in Santa Clara, California, USA. The Applied Materials Group, with more than 22,000 employees worldwide, is the largest manufacturer and supplier of systems and services in the semiconductor, solar and display industries.

ICT GmbH and its approximately 100 employees develop and produce state of the art electron-optical columns (electron microscopes) in this context, which are built into systems (machines) within the group that are used for automatic process control on semiconductor wafers.

We offer a position for a Physicist in the development of future generation E-Beam systems.

Description

• Design and realization of innovative electron beam systems for semiconductor process control
• Testing and verification of novel components and prototypes in the lab
• Development of complex alignment & calibration procedures
• System analysis and optimization via simulations and modeling
• Supporting the new product introduction
• Close cooperation in an international multidisciplinary team

Skills and Experience 

• Degree in Physics or comparable studies
• Preferably expertise in fields of electron microscopy (SEM/TEM)
• Professional experience in the development of particle optical systems would be ideal
• Strong interest in problem solving (experimentally and theoretically)
• Very good knowledge of German and English, spoken and written
• Creative and results-oriented mode of working
• High degree of initiative and organizational talent
