Job Title: Piano / Vocal / Violin Teacher (full-time & short-term: 1-3 Months)

Sima Music School (司马艺术学校) is a great private music school with a unique teaching philosophy. It is located at an awesome resort in China; we strive to provide a high level of music education that encourages students of all ages and levels to develop their interest in music. Our faculty consists of world-class musicians who have graduated from the most prestigious conservatories. We are a music school with international vibe and supportive work environment and we are looking for new passionate piano teachers and vocal teachers to join our team.

Responsibilities

• Teach piano lessons or vocal lessons to all levels of students (age 4 to adult)
• Help students to prepare for performances and examinations
• Prepare lesson plans and student reports
• Organize music events, workshops and performances

Requirements

• Bachelor degree in music pedagogy, piano performance, vocal performance or in comparable majors is required. (master degree will be preferred)
• Teaching experience
• Fluent English. Knowledge of Chinese language will be preferred but not a must.
• Capable for long residence in China
• Communicate effectively and empathetically with all stakeholders: pupils, parents, schools, colleagues and managers
