As a Planning & Fulfillment Engineer you will be responsible for local NEMA division business customer orders receiving, production schedule planning, planning execution follow up and other planning & fulfillment related tasks, in Motion Business Area in Shanghai, China.

Reporting to the Operations Manager, you will ensure customer inquiry quick response, customer orders on time delivery, high production capacity usage to improve customer satisfaction. Monitoring and optimizing order to delivery process continuously.

Your responsibilities

• Being responsible for customer order receiving, production capacity checking and deliver date response
• Being responsible for customer order booking and following up production schedule
• Monitoring customer stock and forecasting, communicating order, forecasting, delivery information with customer, confirming customer requirements
• Arranging production plan and drive raw material requirements in SAP based on customer order, customer forecast and ABB production capacity, equipment status, raw material supply status
• Ensuring production volume and delivery fulfill with customer needs
• Following up and monitoring production plan implementation status, following up material, equipment, workshop and customer order, resolving the issues found in the process on time
• Being responsible for production planning balance, arranging production capacity in good manner, proper resource allocation, reducing production cost and improving productivity. Adjusting production plan on time based on customer order change and ABB production change
• Refreshing and maintaining production plan strategy, routing, standard working hour and work center information in SAP and taking up other tasks assigned by manager

Your background

• 5 years of working experience in order handling and/or production planning positions in manufacturing industry, motor/generator industry are preferred
• Sound knowledge and experience of SAP
• Good experience of problem solving and capable of leading and learning
• Bachelor or above
• Fluency in English both oral and written
• Team working and good communication skills
