Eaton’s Aerospace Division is currently seeking a Planner to join our team. This position is based at our Camarillo, CA facility. Position Overview: The Planner exhibits expertise in planning practices for production and leads others to ensure customer orders are completed on time at the lowest possible cost. They will manage and identify areas for improvement in the following areas: planning/shop floor scheduling, tools, ERP SMART rules, shortage resolution, expedites, customer requests, manufacturing efficiency, and capacity management. In this role, you will: Execute MRP and the timely creation of shop orders to satisfy customer demand, achieve desired stocking levels and maintain flow of work on the factory floor. Support customer calls to provide status and actions as needed. Level-load production as required to address bottlenecks. Communicate and coordinate with production supervisors and purchasing teams to ensure schedule adherence and recovery if required. Analyze shortages by work order and/or customer order and communicate to Production Management and Customer Service Review and maintain SAP data integrity inclusive of routings and bill of material accuracy. Communicate frequently and proactively with customer service teams to meet or exceed customer expectations and establish effective relationships. Track progression of production orders, investigate factors that affect schedules, and modify plans as necessary Metric owner of past due, late to release orders, on time delivery and days on hand. Maintain all planning related MRP parameters. Lead capacity evaluation and proactively communicate capacity bottlenecks to Production Management. Inform management of potential production problems and assist in the implementation of both short and long term solutions. Analyzes firm customer orders (backlog + open orders) to meet customer on time delivery and sales projection using profit plan as reference. Qualifications Required (Basic) Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution Minimum two (2) years of supply chain planning experience Must be authorized to work in the United States without company sponsorship now or in the future No relocation benefit is being offered for this position. Only candidates that currently reside within 50 miles of the Camarillo, CA facility will be considered. Active-Duty Military Service member candidates are exempt from the geographical area limitation. This position requires use of information or access to hardware which is subject to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR). ITAR defines a U.S. person as a U.S. Citizen, U.S. Permanent Resident (i.e. ‘Green Card Holder’), Political Asylee, or Refugee Preferred Qualifications: CPIM Certified Minimum one (1) year of planning experience working with SAP Aerospace industry experience General knowledge of ERP and procurement processes Sound understanding of customer requirements, quality requirements, lead times Knowledge in work order management, scheduling, production, capacity planning Bill of Materials (BOM) management, item master setup, MRP principles Proficient in tracking of internal metrics Experience in demand planning and scheduling Bilingual in English and Spanish Position Success Criteria: Strong project and time management, organizational, and analytical skills. Ability to communicate effectively with all levels of the organization, from production associates to the leadership team. Excellent problem-solving skills in complex and demanding situations that undergo continuous priority changes The expected annual salary range for this role is $72,720 - $99,990.
