Job Description
Planner 6 Month Position Location: Luton, Bedfordshire Our Luton facility is looking to appoint a Planner to plan and monitor production in line with service and inventory targets, highlighting exceptions as they occur for the Luton site. The successful candidate will have great attention to detail and organization skills. Essential Functions: Supporting the business to maximise revenue & planning the work efficiently by maintaining a current view of customer orders, plant capacity and inventory. Help to drive OTTR/OTTC within the plant to ensure we hit targets Convert MRP generated planned orders to production orders into SAP taking into consideration material availability and capacity resulting in the best fit for customer requests. Monitor and react to the daily MRP exceptions within the constraints of material and capacity availability. Co-ordinate modifications to product ensuring Bills of material (B.O.M.) or inventory transactions reflect any changes to product. Track Production Orders and identify possible material supply problems effecting customers, and ensuring all stakeholders are notified. Liaise with Sales giving accurate delivery dates and feedback on potential delays. Participate in improvement meetings in order to identify and implement changes that will benefit the performance of the business Qualifications Qualifications/Experience: Min of 2yr experience is required in a fast pace manufacturing role A good communicator who can work well across all levels of the business Willingness to learn & excellent attention to detail Able to stay calm & work under pressure Working knowledge of SAP and Excel What you will get from us Eaton’s mission is to improve the quality of life and the environment through the use of power management technologies and services.
