Viral Vector Services is an experienced viral vector CDMO supporting gene and cell therapies, and is focused on process and analytical development, and clinical and commercial supply. With more than a decade of experience, our 500-strong, highly skilled team has managed over 100 client projects delivering first-in-human clinical materials to accelerate our client's products from the laboratory to patients in need. We work in close collaboration with each client's team to deliver successful programs. Through this, we enable the delivery of novel medicines to improve patient health with the potential to cure diseases.
How will you make an impact?
The Planner / Scheduler II is responsible for the execution of the demand plan working with manufacturing and supply chain teams across the network to ensure capacity is available to meet demand requirements within the planning horizon using ERP and business systems. The role is also responsible for supporting the deployment of new process changes, templates, work on projects with other functions to account for organizational changes, etc.
What will you do?
- Ensures production schedules enable achieving required product availability goals. Responsible for successful implementation and maintenance of capacity planning processes and initiatives. Influence and collaborate with key partners to address input gaps.
- Supports the development of key output and KPI requirements that support the supply / demand consensus/ Understand and highlight capacity constraints and work collaboratively with manufacturing teams on resolution.
- Manages finite schedule and capacity modeling. Creates and releases production orders to manufacturing per optimal schedules.
- Provides analysis to ensure capacity is available in support of new product launch. Develop & communicate resolution plans.
- Supports site supply chain functions to include demand, capacity, and inventory analysis.

The Planner / Scheduler II collaborates across Supply Chain and Manufacturing teams to understand scheduling requirements, program timing, and ERP/MRP system functionality to successfully plan for production activities
Education
- Bachelor’s Degree
Experience
- 2-5 years of Planning and/or Supply Chain Experience
- cGMP Experience preferred
- ERP/MRP System Experience (SAP / Oracle)
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
