Job Description
We are looking for our next Planner supply chain to join our team. This position is based in San José. Job Summary: Review, analyzes demand, capacity and material requirements for ETO and ATO products, by determining the quantity and date that finish goods are needed to achieve customer request dates, sales and profit goals. Prepares detail master production schedule plan and coordinates with manufacturing and purchasing activities to ensure plan execution and request or promise dates accordingly. Job Responsabilities: Review, promise, and take actions in advance about projects pending to book, in order to give a realistic and competitive promise date. Keeping up-to-date customer order promise dates. ( AWSD: Advance warning shipping delay) Negotiates cross-functionally (buyers, customer services, sales, production supervisors) within the organization to meet plant delivery requirements in order to fulfill customer needs. Forecasts demand for assigned products using sales, booking and marketing information of the products. Determinate capacity lines. Develops and executes the production plans in order to meet sales, profit and inventory targets and goals. Manage ERP, through MDS/MPS/MRS Oracle modules. Balances current and future requirements with manufacturing capability, in order to create a realistic production plan to meet customer requirements. Manage safety stock levels according to Marketing offer. ( list price) Prioritize and expedite orders as required, based on customer requirements, or business needs. Analyzes higher level data, including enterprise requirement planning information, develops multiple outcomes, and prepares reports as needed to make recommendations and execute the plan in order to optimize plant operations. Keep planning parameters update in ERP Item master. Comply with the responsibilities of the position in relation with EATON managements systems (MESH, LEAN, EQS, MMA, EBE, ISO) #LI-SL4 Qualifications Industrial Engineering Bachelor Degree. 'Desired knowledge in inventory Management, Master Production Schedule, MRP and forecast process. Two years minimum experience Computer Skills(Word,Excel,Power Point and Access) Intermediate knowledge of English Level. Must be a team player Negotiations skills. Customer service oriented.
