Job Description
Siemens UK Grid Software is seeking a hard-working and driven Planning Analyst to join our Managed Services business. This is an exciting opportunity for a detail-oriented individual with a passion for sustainability and innovation. As a Planning Analyst, you will be responsible for coordinating the asset supply plan and ensuring the delivery schedules and inventory are optimised to support the deployment plans. Key duties: Create, manage, and monitor asset delivery forecasts and inventory levels to support successful delivery of the deployment plans. Engage with customers to agree asset delivery plans and inventory levels. Create asset records for internal asset management system and generate Advance Shipment Notice (ANS) records for logistics partner. Develop, update and report asset related performance data to both internal and external stakeholders. Find opportunities to optimise and improve current asset management reporting and processes, both internally and those that involve customers / logistics partner. Ensure stock shortages/issues and mitigation procedures are communicated to field teams. Documentation of standard work. Experience working in logistics, supply chain management or planning role. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a customer-centric approach.
