The mission of the Planning & Fulfillment function is to support profitable growth by ensuring the accurate tactical planning of our demand and our operations, optimizing inventory and resource management and the perfect fulfillment of customers’ orders. This mission is achieved by balancing and improving five metrics: customer on-time delivery, inventory, lead-time, forecast accuracy and resource optimization.

Your responsibilities

  • 1, Production Plan
  • Obtains sign-off from Engineering and Production functions and inputs it to the Integrated Business Planning process. Provide input into S&OP, translate projected forecasts, incoming volume and work scopes into a production plan with a time-phased build. Engage in capacity management during sales and operations planning, master scheduling, material requirements planning, and production activity control.
  • Setting up and execution of production and material control system. Management of planning data and ERP system. Maintains planning parameters in ERP and planning system.
  • Co-ordinate with other functions (Production, engineering, Quality, Procurement, Finance and order handling, etc.) in planning and delivery related issues.
  • 2, Long-term capacity planning
  • Identifies capacity constraints and recommends both short and long term solutions and mitigation plan to remove bottleneck
  • Production and demand analysis
  • 3, Inventory management
  • Monitor FG, WIP inventory. Recommends rationalization initiatives and feeds them into the inventory checkbook(ICBK)
  • Calculates and maintains the inventory parameters in the ERP(Enterprise Resource Planning) and other system.
  • Analyses excess and obsolete/aging inventory. Takes appropriate action for optimizing inventory performance, in collaboration with other functions.
  • 4, Gap analyses/Improvement
  • Identifies key root causes for deviation from the production plan and implements initiatives to improve adherence to plan for future.
  • Performs standard and details analyses for planning & fulfillment metrics (inventory, on-time delivery, lead-time, forecast accuracy, resource utilization).
  • 5, Material plan
  • Maintains planning bill and generates material plan based on the constrained supply plan.
  • 6, Report and management
  • Prepare report on production plan, delivery and inventory activities, recommending improvements and modification.
  • Performs and manages planning actives and team.

Your background

  • Must have minimum bachelor’s degree, better with engineering or operation background.
  • At least 5 years on planning functions jobs in production field, experience the process, tools in manufacture field, coordination on the resource in production, purchasing, logistic and warehouse.
  • Must be good at data analysis and management. Better with digitization and lean knowledge.
  • Must be fluent writing and speaking skills of business English.
  • Good skills of computer, especially of MS.
  • Strong communication and organizing capability.
