Primary Function:

You will be responsible for coordinating all Production Planing Activities, Rubber slitting, assembling and a part of Industrial production which are mainly focused low-medium and high pressure rubber/plastic hose production. Cost out projects, developing and maintaining production standards, optimizing productivity and ensuring accuracy of BOM and routings within current ERP system would be your other primary functions. You will report directly to Focus Factory Manager. You will manage part of Industrial production , rubber slitting and assembling departments to achieve plant Hi5. targets. 

Essential Functions:

  • Leverages standard tools and processes to ensure successful execution in departmental KPIs.
  • Adheres to all safety requirements, enforces safety expectations, document and communicate hazards and unsafe conditions, conducts training to team members on safety regulations and methods. Empowers all employees to take ownership of their personal safety.
  • Improve productivity in responsibility production departments by either developing the equipment , efficient plnning or creating new standardize manufacturing method.
  • Monitor and control key process metrics such as TRCR, Internal PPM, scrap rate and productivity
  • Investigate and analyze production methods, processes, operations and propose possible modifications for continuous improvement.
  • Project proceed control and new line implementation for new projects and processes based on projects’ budget.
  • Build close relationship with other functions and units.
  • Support the implementation of quality control procedures to the shopfloor.
  • Ensure the accuracy of BOM and Routings within MFG/PRO.
  • Utilize problem solving technique such as global 8D, PFMEA, Control plans etc.
  • Regularly communicate and demonstrate the Eaton best practices, ethics, values and philosophy such that these cultural attributes are incorporated throughout the organization.

Qualifications

Are you?

Required:

  • Bachelor of Science degree preferably in Engineering
  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in Manufacturing Environment preferably  as Lead
  • Knowledge of Continuous Improvement and LEAN practices
  • Team-oriented problem solving and analytical thinking
  • Effective communication skills
  • Strong interpersonal & communication skills to collaborate effectively
  • Strong time management skills

Eaton has announced it has reached an agreement to sell its Hydraulics Business to Danfoss A/S. This transaction is expected to be completed by Q1 2021 and this position is expected to remain with the Hydraulics Business and would transfer to Danfoss A/S. upon close. The compensation and benefits that will initially be offered for this position are based on Eaton’s plans, programs and practices. If you are offered and accept this position and are actively employed by the Hydraulics Business when the transaction closes, Danfoss A/S will provide further details to employees concerning compensation and benefits at that time
