Job Description
Eaton's Vehicle Group North America is seeking an Executive Assistant to be based at its Kearney, Nebraska manufacturing facility. Relocation assistance is available! Position Overview: The Plant Executive Assistant may provide administrative support to plant staff and the employee base including managing travel and expenses and scheduling/organizing internal and external meetings as needed. The incumbent will serve as the administrative liaison with leaders of our manufacturing plant and support facilities and occasionally with distributors, customers or suppliers or others outside the company regarding a variety of issues. This role will play a leadership role in organizing the plant’s documents and communication methods including creating and maintaining mailing lists and other forms of outreach to our employees. In addition, the incumbent will be expected to manage the division’s overall calendar and to schedule the appropriate cadence of review and preparation meetings for key events like monthly staff, extended staff and all employee meetings. This position requires strong organizational, analytical and communication skills and requires you to be able to work with all levels of the organization. We are searching for someone who is proactive and has strong learning agility and who wants to become a key member of our leadership team. In this function you will: Manage calendar schedules, small and large meeting coordination and light phone management. Manage preparation for external visitors to the facility. Serve as a liaison with support functions such as IT/PC support, facilities and mail room Manage the plant’s overall calendar and cadence of events and ensures it is aligned with VGNA events and activities Develop and maintain communication and collaboration tools for the plant including SharePoint and Teams sites, mailing lists. Prepare advanced PowerPoint presentations for business reviews, meetings and events. Participate in planning and coordinating plant and company employee activities and events. Create and updates employee badges and access levels to the facility. Maintain confidence and protects operations by keeping information confidential. Analyze processes to look for opportunities to make sure they are as lean as possible. Support travel and expense report needs of the leadership team as needed Support supply replenishment as needed. Qualifications Required (Basic) Qualifications Associates degree from an accredited institution Minimum one (1) year experience in a professional business environment Must be legally authorized to work in the United State without company sponsorship now and in the future Preferred Qualifications: Three (3) plus years' experience in a professional business environment in an administrative or support role Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited institution, Business or Marketing & Communications preferred Prior administrative experience in a manufacturing environment Eaton considers qualified applicants regardless of criminal histories, consistent with local laws.
