Job Description

Plant Controller

  • Budgeting & KPI setting/monitoring
    • Leads and coordinates plant X+1 budgeting, new estimation, forecast (M+1);providing input for strategic exercises;
    • Assists plant management to set up and monitor plant KPI;
    • Leads the team to set proper standard costs, representative activity, tariffs, allocation rules, etc in annual budget process.
  • Controlling
    • Leads internal control and risk management process, ensures the implementation of all defined policies and procedures;
    • Responsible for cash flow management, monitoring working capital and Capex management, etc.;
    • Analyzes production variance, profitability, business performance and provide improvement measures or process optimization to management;
    • Supports the team of improving project on financial and cost evaluation/study (e.g. cost reduction, process optimization, buy or rental, material substitution, etc);
    • Supports and participates in SAP improvement projects to strengthen the control efficiency;
    • Coordinates and manages internal audit process, and make sure implementation of audit recommendations.
  • Management Reporting
    • Ensures timely and reliable reports for legal/group and management use;
    • Performs monthly business and cost analysis, make monthly report to management;
    • Monitors SAP controlling module (cost center,cost element,work center,routing, segments, etc) to assure the accountability of correct reporting data.
  • Business Partnering
    • takes up an active and steering role in initiatives to improve the manufacturing and cost performance of the plant (in close collaboration with the Operational Team);
    • partners up with the commercial team to optimize the commerical performance of the plant
    • participates in cross-plant improvement projects
  • External Relationship
    • Maintains close cooperation with Corporate Tax, Legal, Treasury, Credit and Insurance so as to make sure the plant is in line with established guidelines;
    • Represents the plants in financial matters towards (external) partners in order to strengthen the plant's overall position.
  • People management
    • Leads a competent and effective staff by training, coaching, motivating, evaluating staff to achieve desired objectives.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor degree or above, major in finance or accounting
  • More than 5 years related working experience
  • Good communication skill both in Chinese and English
  • Good ability to take a proactive and co-leading role in cross-functional teams
