Eaton Corporation’s Digital Utilities Segment is seeking a Plant Controller. This preferred location of this position is Plymouth, MN. There is the opportunity for REMOTE work for the ideal candidate. Position Overview: As the Plant Controller, you will serve as a key finance leader and business partner for the Digital Utilities Segment US locations in Plymouth, MN, Rockville, MD and Franksville, WI. This role is instrumental in support of the Utilities Segment Controller to ensure an adequate internal controls environment, including comprehensive account reconciliations and balance sheet reviews. This role also leads development and analysis of forecasts and actual performance and operational metrics, including the annual profit planning process. In this role you will: Be responsible for consolidation of financial reporting for the Digital Utilities segment, including US and Canada locations. You will supervise of all US accounting functions and personnel. This includes one direct report and the relationship management of the financial shared service center in India. Ensure accurate and timely monthly, quarterly and year end close along with reporting of all monthly results Review balance sheet reconciliations monthly, lead all core internal controls activities (including SOX compliance) and all requests from internal / external audit. Prepare and analyze of key performance indicators and metrics Lead monthly financial forecast US locations and partner with Production, Marketing, Sales and Customer Service groups to support business operations and maintain an accurate forecast process Partner with operations, supply chain and engineering to quantify the impact of opportunities for cost savings and report out on the pipeline. Lead physical inventory process for approximately ten storage locations across the US and Mexico. Lead the development of Utilities US profit plan, and consolidation of the broader Utilities plan. Assist in the preparation and justification of Capital Expenditure Requests Support the development of organizational capability within the Finance function by participating in the hiring and developing of finance personnel within the division. Qualifications Required (Basic) Qualifications: Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance or related field of study from an accredited institution. Minimum of 3 years of experience in an accounting and/or finance environment. Must be able to work in the United States without corporate sponsorship now and within the future. Preferred Qualifications: Candidate would be located within 50-miles of Plymouth MN. MBA from an accredited institution. Minimum of 8 years of experience in an accounting and/or finance environment. Possess either CMA (Certified Management Accountant) and/or CPA (Certified Public Accountant) qualifications. SAP or Oracle experience. Manufacturing experience and/or experience with contract manufacturers. Expertise with Microsoft Office products, with strong Excel modeling skills. Experience in a leader of people role. Process Improvement experience. Position Criteria: Ability to travel up to 10% Excellent communication, interpersonal and influencing skills Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities Results orientated Financially astute with experience managing budgets Proven commitment to meeting deadlines and attention to detail Eaton provides a competitive total rewards package commensurate with applicable skills, knowledge, and experience and consistent with internal and external market practices.
