The Plant Controller serves a key business partner for the Nettershiem, Germany plant and is responsible for providing financial controllership, managing and driving the financial performance of the plant without compromising accounting and controls compliance. You will be an active member of the plant leadership team advising and counselling on financial implications of plant activities. You will also have close collaboration with Regional Controller to execute financial actions directed to the plant to accomplish overall Filtration Regional goals. The position reports directly to the Plant Manager and functionally to the EMEA Regional Controller. Your primary responsibilities are to: Support month-end closing and forecast, review actual performance to forecast, provide insights of the key drivers of performance, and provide variance commentary for Industrial Products (including the consolidation of Belgium intercompany products). Deep-dive on variances and provide actions as necessary to drive improvement of plant performance. Lead monthly Close, Forecast, Operation & Sales Financial Review presentations and any plant financial presentation as required for the site Collaborate closely with regional and global teams to drive performance of the plant including working capital (DSO, DPO, DOH) and operational metrics (OTD, Cost Out) Provide controllership on physical inventory exercise in collaboration with plant and regional SCM teams Own plant Capital Appropriation Projects including presentations for approval and reporting to operational team on timeliness of spend and budget controls Provide financial leadership on standard cost computation and annual cost roll and re-evaluation process Own and lead annual Profit Plan (budget) preparations and presentation to Regional and US Division leadership team Collaborate closely with Regional Controller to drive change and/or execute actions assigned to the plant to accomplish overall regional goals Drive SIOP of the plant with operation peers to improve overall plant process integrity and efficiency Collaborate closely with functional expert team to maintain internal controls to ensure adherence to company’s financial policies, US GAAP, SOX, local GAAP, local statutory/fiscal regulatory reporting to ensure overall compliance Own team member performance and development plan Join Eaton and help us provide energy-efficient solutions that have a real impact on the environment. Detail-orientation with focus on high level of accuracy, Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, datelines oriented Proficiency in Microsoft applications (Excel & PowerPoint) Experience in working with ERP (Glovia, MFGPRO, SAP, Oracle) systems in a manufacturing environment Experience in working with Financial Reporting Tools (Kalix Longview or equivalent system like Hyperion etc..)
