Title: Plant Manager

Report to: General Manager

Job location: Changzhou City

1）Main Responsibilities:

a) Overall project management for Balaguer Rolls China’s new project which covering the setup of new company, land acquisition, civil construction and engineering bidding, relocation of Balaguer Rolls Wuxi facilities to Changzhou site and commissioning of new facilities and oilseeds roll manufacturing line;

b) Managing key project milestones and conducting regularly-scheduled progress updates with General Manager and shareholders in Balaguer Rolls Spain;

c) Managing capital expenditure(CAPEX) and controlling the real spending within budget;

d) Liaising with local authorities for statutory procedures including but not limited to Bureau of Land and Resources , Planning Bureau, Safety Supervision Bureau, Environmental Protection Bureau, Safety Supervision Bureau;

e) Ensuring the project to be safely completed on time at high quality while meeting statutory requirement and passing the acceptance check from different authorities;

f) Managing the contractors and suppliers to conduct the work at site in accordance with laws & regulations;

g) This position will be transferred to Operations Management once the project is completed and put into operation

2）Position requirements:

a) Education Qualification: Bachelor degree in engineering, mechanical manufacturing or electromechanical integration;

b) Technical Competence & Skills:

• Familiar with project management, EHS regulations and civil and mechanical engineering;

• Rich experience of machining process, Lean Manufacturing and Operational Excellence system in mechanical manufacturing industry, it will be a plus for roll manufacturing industry;

• Some experience in machinery fabrication and assembly;

• Familiar with production planning and some experience in quality management.

Leadership Competence:

• Demonstrated effective interpersonal and communication skills with open-mind;
  

• Must be able to organize thoughts and convey ideas effectively to every level of the organization.

Relevant Experience:

• Minimum 10 years working experience as project or operational managerial position at foreign invested company which is in mechanical manufacturing industry;
  

• Fluency in English is required.
