This role has two complementary responsibilities: Site Executive Responsibilities: Golf Pride Extended Senior Leadership Team Member: Actively participates in the Golf Pride Extended Senior Leadership Team to help guide and direct the overall business. This includes passing input up from the Tainan site to the SLT to incorporate into the global plan, and it also includes communicating down Golf Pride’s overall business objectives to all employees at the site. In this role, the senior site leader needs to be comfortable participating in the development of the division strategic plan, and communicating Golf Pride’s overall goals and objectives. Overall Site Planning: Creates and deploys a multi-year vision for the Tainan site in the context of Golf Pride’s overall growth strategy. Identifies the main organizational gaps (people/process/systems) needed to support the visition, and creates an action plan to address needed improvements. This plan will have a heavy focus on manufacturing but will also include other functions at the site (e.g., new product development, customer service, sales etc.). Cross Functional Leadership: Models, coaches, and actively promotes productive cross-functional relationships and communication that supports Golf Pride’s overall business goals at the site. Most importantly, this includes consistent collaboration with on-site customer service, new product development, and sales teams. Site Morale & Culture: Build organizational capability by providing leadership in recruiting, goal alignment, employee development, performance management and communication. Ensure motivation and retention of a high-performance plant leadership team and workforce. Manufacturing Operations Leader Responsibilities: Safety: Proactively champion a culture focused on Environmental, Health & Safety (EHS), driving a zero-incident culture. Empower employees and drive accountability for EHS to all levels in the organization. Quality: Create a culture of exceeding customer expectations, ensuring that the organization is highly responsive to customer needs and issues. Work with key stakeholders across Marketing, Sales, New Product Development and Operations to ensure achievement of end-to-end quality goals. Service: Develops a leadership model and a culture that delivers superior service levels to our customers and differentiates Golf Pride against its other competitors. Works actively to manage sure that SIOP and New Product Development (NPD) activities at the site set the manufacturing operations up to successfully deliver product to customers on time. Cost: Effectively manages manufacturing costs and eliminates waste through the development of a Continuous Improvement culture. Develops and maintains a “hopper” of cost out initiatives at the site in support of the Golf Pride division’s annual and strategic planning cost out goals. Plans and implements cost out projects to meet or exceed savings targets. Supply Chain: Responsible for creating and maintain supply chain excellence at the site which includes on-time delivery of component materials at the lowest total cost, along with annual material cost improvements. P&L Management: Develops profit plan objectives for the site and proactively manages all spending to support those objectives. Culture: Clearly communicates expectations, continually raises the bar, and consistently holds self and employees accountable for performance. Cross Site Coordination: As the senior most manufacturing operations leader at the site, communicate and coordinate with the other Golf Pride operations leaders to develop a global operations system that differentiates Golf Pride in the marketplace against its competitors. Process Compliance: Responsible for compliance with all Eaton Business, Finance, HR and all other functional policy and procedures at site Qualifications Basic Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree from an accredited intuition required Minimum 10 years of experience with progressive levels of accountability and responsibility in Manufacturing, Supply Chain, Finance, OPEX and/or related support functions in a manufacturing environment is required Minimum 5 years of managing people in a manufacturing environment Preferred Qualifications: Master’s degree in Business Administration Experience in a multi-site, global business Experience in consumer products business Knowledge of golf industry Technical knowledge: Knowledge of current technologies in manufacturing, engineering, materials management/inventory control, distribution and logistics, purchasing, quality assurance systems processes and practices Strong financial and business acumen Strong collaborative skills with proven ability to drive change and leadership ownership/accountability Ability to build high performance teams, lead cross-functionally, develop & train employees Ability to provide leadership, performance results, org development and operational improvement Soft Skills: Strong interpersonal and planning skills with proven ability to lead change through both direct and indirect (influencing) abilities. Natural leader and driver with the confidence and conviction to successfully and diplomatically challenge the status quo. Can effectively and comfortably speak to different levels of the organization; senior leaders to the factory floor. Strong communication skills with the ability to present and discuss both strategy and analysis. High EQ to manage change across multiple functions Yes!
