Position Purpose

• Be responsible for the planning, production, maintenance, warehousing, inventory management and quality departments of the plant.
• Manage a plant with low assets (equipment and inventory), good customer service (designed for flexibility), providing high quality products (meeting customer expectations), and the minimum required organization (frugal in its attitude) striving for excellence.
• Be responsible for the supply of products as defined in the annual budgets.
• Be accountable for the production, and quality of all products required by the company at a cost level that provides an advantage over competition.
• Ensure that standards of quality and service are maintained and that inventory, capital equipment and human resources are used, maintained and developed in the most optimum manner.

Requirements

• University Degree in Engineering (Chemical, Mechanical, Electrical), Chemistry of closely related field.
• Minimum ten years experience, with at least fives years manufacturing experience in a related industry (food, beverage, health and hygiene, pharmaceutical, or other consumer-end specialty chemical manufacturing).
• Significant capital project management experience.
• Multi-lingual – proficient in English and the national language.
• A career path that includes two levels of organization structure including major production area project work, supervision of staff positions and supervisory manufacturing positions.
• Direct experience in functional areas of Operations, including Planning, Purchasing, Distribution, and/or quality.
