As a Plant Manager you will be responsible for the overall leadership, management and P&L of the filtration manufacturing plant in Nettersheim (50km south of Cologne). You will have an overall responsibility for leading plant teams in achieving production schedule, product quality, product cost, and employee safety goals. This role will report directly to the Operations Director of the Filtration division and will support in driving profitable growth and margin expansion. Your key deliverables : Develop and communicate initiatives to measure and improve key business drivers (i.e., Customer satisfaction, Growth and Innovation, Profitability and Asset Management, Perfect Quality, excellence through people). Lead the EBS planning processes for strategic planning, OCA, and profit planning for the EMEA Industrial business (Nettersheim site). Work with the EMEA leadership team and EMEA sales organization to identify growth opportunities and align investments accordingly. Develop plans to achieve world class high five metrics (Safety, Quality, Delivery, Productivity, and Inventory) and Eaton Model Site status. Maintain and maximize the utilization of the corporate assets of plant building and grounds, machine tools, process equipment, computer systems and material inventories. Develop effective communications and spirit of teamwork between the plant operation and field sales, customers, other division plants and the division staff. Develop and implement plans to enhance the quality of work life within the plant by assuring that open channels of communication exist with employees; participative employee teams are cultivated and trained; and clean, safe working conditions are maintained Be the driver for full compliance to Eaton's internal Environmental Health and Safety Program's goals and objectives. Assure compliance with established accounting practices for the control and reporting of financial performance. Plan and direct facilities investments to improve productivity and provide production capacity consistent with sales volume objectives and support manufacturing strategy. Develop plant staff level personnel. Establish and maintain a professional relationship with all employee representative levels (eg. Works councils, economic committee, health and safety committee) Represent the corporation in community service and professional organizations. Qualifications Required: Bachelor´s Degree in Engineering A minimum of 5 years equivalent experience with progressive levels of responsibility in operations Working knowledge of current manufacturing, engineering, materials/purchasing and quality assurance methods and practices. A thorough understanding of financial practices and financial statements. Very good English and German language capability. Desired: Master's in Business Administration (MBA) Specific knowledge in welding processes Administrative knowledge in information systems, human resources and in controlling key projects and plant initiatives.
