To find out more about us check: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=baa_aiJ4L7E As a Plant Operations Leader, you will manage and direct plant operations, in order to achieve production objectives consistent with overall quality and on time performance requirements. Within the discipline of Operational Excellence are the Eaton Lean System and Quality represented as well as Operational Excellence (Lean Engineering, Lean Technicians and QA/QC), while also driving an Environmental Health & Safety program throughout the organization and develop a strong EHS culture. You will own the professional leadership of the plant’s strategic planning and execution processes and commitment to building organizational capability. Within the framework of the “Eaton Philosophy and Values” and EBS, you will be responsible for supporting positive employee relations, you will be the “face of Eaton” both within the facility as well as the community, demonstrating the behaviors as characterized in the Eaton Leadership Model. Your main responsibilities: Prepares the budget (planning) for the plant and ensures objectives for the site are met within approved budget, schedules and quality specifications. Ensures an effective implementation of all operational focused activities, and is working close with the overall resourced teams particularly in the Supply Chain, controlling, and HR management by regular meetings. Drive and lead the implementation of manufacturing and assembly lines planned as per the strategy. Secure that Operational processes are in line with applicable regional, national, divisional and/or corporate guidelines, procedures, law and regulations and have these actively audited and monitored by means of available systems (EHS ELS, QA and Industrialization) Conducts meetings on a regular basis with employees to ensure communication of operational objectives. Ensure the deployment of the Eaton Business System and lean tools throughout the plant. Ensures required documentation and/or system transactions are executed in order to ensure consistent and compliant products are manufactured. Assures prompt and accurate reporting systems as it relates to operations in order to monitor performance against objectives by using Eaton metrics and balance score cards. Ensure achievement of plant objectives across the site (some examples below): Eaton MESH System, Eaton Quality System and Eaton Lean Six Sigma implementation – implementation, execution and adherence Meet or exceed H5-goals in every site Profit plan, Capital Plan, Departmental Budgets, cost-out incl. idea pipeline [material, wages and others], idea management systems, overtime reduction, 5S+, visual management, IDB [Integrated Deck Building], Kaizens, BPI [Business Process Improvement], Best Practice sharing and implementation, etc. – Continuous Improvement Activities on cost structure (fix & variable) and reducing/minimizing waste Strategic Plans in alignment with divisional and group operational strategies In case any goals are not met, implement corrective actions with respective teams to go back on track Participate in employee representative consultations. Coordinate with Human Resources to deal with labor relations issues as they arise within the respective area. Build Organizational Capability through empowering functional areas while providing overall direction and accountability in accordance with the Eaton Values and Philosophies. Develop and implement improvements in production methods, standards, and procedures to ensure effective use of resources. Assess performance indicators and take appropriate actions to ensure schedule, cost and quality goals of manufacturing operations are met (ELSS). Leverages resources and motivates manufacturing employees in order to create a high-performance work culture. Supports, develops and executes strategic capital spending plans for the operations to assure adequate capacity to meet division and product line growth objectives, and approves and manages the development and administration of competitive wage/salary and benefit plans. Serve as key player in ensuring that environmental, health & safety issues are addressed, considering local regulations, by focusing on quality and environmental aspects (EQS, MESH within both plants) and “Quality Management” acc. to ISO9000 -14000 & 45000 series. Ensure compliance with all government, financial, environmental, and labour regulations. #LI-ID1 Qualifications Your essential skills we are looking for: Education level required: Minimum of Bachelor’s degree, preferably electrical, mechanical or industrial engineering complemented with an MBA or equivalent is preferred. At least 10-12 years combined management experience in manufacturing environment in a multinational organization, preferably in electrical sector (medium voltage switchgear or transformers) or automotive industy or any similar industrial space Production knowledge and specific experience in manufacturing and assembly processes of medium voltage switchgear or transformers would be a great asset Technical understanding of electrical testing and quality control would be an asset Proven Management and leadership skills and social understanding Strong Operational Excellence mindset Understanding of ERP systems (preferably SAP) and Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, Project Management (Pro Launch) ISO 9001. Fluency in Turkish and English required. Must possess good communication skills (verbal, written) to be able to represent Eaton Plant internally and externally.
