Accountabilities

• Quality System & Audits:

• Together With the Global Quality organization , lead the standardization of the quality processes and procedures
• Define, deploy, maintain and audit the Eberspaecher quality management system and improving programs
• Attain/maintain required external certification (IS09000/TS16949, VDA, etc.) registration and required customer certifications
• Coordinate and oversee audit plan for every facility.

• Deployment of the Eberspaecher APQP process

• introduce multidiscipline teams in Eberspaecer APQP methods
• Work with the Global Quality organization to organize program date reviews and participate in/conduct program and change readiness reviews on a regular basis.
• Publish meeting minutes from gate reviews for China programs
• Foster design for quality, design for manufacturing, and design for assembly, and reliability thinking in product design process.

• Daily quality controlling & continual improvement:

• Building up the quality controlling system in engineering & manufacturing stage, controlling the in/out coming quality
• Identify and address systemic root causes and errors; Build lessons learned into FMEAs (both Design and Process), DVP&R, and Control Plans
• Maintain the focus until full implementation of corrective and improvement actions is accomplished
• Conduct Warranty Reduction Program & Potential Liabilities Review

• Supplier Quality management:

• Verification of the suppliers from the quality aspect
• Conducting the continuous improvement plan and requirements to supplier for the improvements
• Monitoring the supplier for solving related quality problems or issues

• Along with the business expanding and investment in China, organizing the China quality meeting and running its daily operations, reviewing the quality managers’ performance from the quality professional aspect

• Keep communicating with the corporate quality count part in Germany for the deployment of the corporate strategies & programs of Quality.

• Directly support the China GM for the China plant’s quality system & procedures’ establishment

• Implement state environmental laws and company’s regulation, as well cooperate general manager

• Manage, inspect, and supervise own environmental departments’ work，

• Supervise, review and inspect own department environmental objective, indicator

• Deliver customer environmental issue to related department.

• Other tasks assigned by line manager.

Requirement

• A minimum of 8-10 years of Quality related experience in a multinational corporation with manufacturing of automotive components.

• Good strategic skills as well as an awareness of the importance of constantly monitoring quality related metrics

• Team management experience, with multisites management experience will be an advantage

Technical Expertise:

• Solid experience in conducting management & solutions in TS16949 system, skilled in using tools like FMEA, APQP, 8D,6Sigma and so on

• Skilled in cooperating and communicating in matrix organization
