Lead innovation and open-source Database challenge for application performance improvement.

Your responsibilities:

• SUPPORT & RUN: Ensure the good quality of current platform’s database system, including Oracle DB, Posgre SQL, MySQL.

• Build & Industrilize: Design data architecture for application needs and roll-out with high quality deliverables

• Identifies database requirements by interviewing customers; analyzing department applications, programming, and operations; evaluating existing systems and designing proposed systems.

• Recommends solutions by defining database physical structure and functional capabilities, database security, data back-up, and recovery specifications.

• Installs revised or new systems by proposing specifications and flowcharts; recommending optimum access techniques; coordinating installation requirements.

• Maintains database performance by calculating optimum values for database parameters; implementing new releases; completing maintenance requirements; evaluating computer operating systems and hardware products;

• Prepares users by conducting training; providing information; resolving problems;

• Maintains professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops; reviewing professional publications; establishing personal networks; benchmarking state-of-the-art practices; participating in professional societies.

Required Skills:

• Strong knowledge of databases knowledge, ETL processes, replication, cloud database services and shell scripting on Linux and other modern technology platforms Unix/Linux scripting

• Good understanding of key design principles for data architecture, design and development

• Sound cloud database knowledge, Azure preferred

• Proven analytical skills and ability to own work from problem to resolution

• Very strong communication skills, and ability to interact with senior business partners as well as senior technology management

• Responsible for developing clean and progressively enhanced code for complex enterprise applications

• Working experience with data warehouse project (Hadoop ,BI reporting) is a plus

• English speaker, French is a plus
