The Platform Security Technologies Engineering (PSTE) group is looking for a HW/SW architect for the development of Platform and CPU level Confidential Compute technologies.

In this role you will work side by side with Intel research teams and CPU architecture teams on the architecture definition of Intel strategic security technologies. As an architect, you will work in a very fast paced, leading edge and unique environment that combines software and hardware on aspects of architecture, design, security, implementation and validation

Qualifications

You should possess a degree in Computer Science, or Electrical/Computer Engineering with at least 8 years of experience.

Additional qualifications include:

• Strong analytical skills
• Track record of driving the definition of complex new technologies where the success depends on strongly influencing technology experts and management
• In depth understanding x86, Server and Client SOC architecture and micro-architecture.
• Experience designing and developing system level software that interacts directly with platform hardware
• Strong knowledge of low level software and/or hardware interfaces and device drivers in Intel architecture platforms
• Familiarity with Crypto algorithms and usages
• Experience in C and/or C++ and x86 assembly development
• Excellent communication skills and willingness to work in a competitive team environment
• Proven clear and effective writing skills for publishing architecture and/or design specifications.
• Demonstrated the ability to form a detailed plan from a high level set of requirements and work independently and collaboratively to produce tangible results

Work Model for this Role

This role will be eligible for our hybrid work model which allows employees to split their time between working on-site at their assigned Intel site and off-site.
